Dominic Walters has become the new CiB chairman. He received his badge of office from outgoing chairman Paul Brasington.

The new board of directors was also announced at the AGM.

The functional directors for 2009 are:

• Communications director – Tim Buckley
• Education and accreditation director – Sheila Parry
• Events director – Suzanne Peck
• Regional and membership director – Louise Birkett
