Find out how E.ON took the tricky issue of how to help leaders become better communicators and turned it into a successful learning and development programme, with measurable results. Kate Jones, Engagement & Channels Manager, E.ON, will outline the practical steps taken and share lessons learned. Kate is speaking on Thursday 12th May at the IoIC's annual conference in Bournemouth.

Another speaker just announced is human resources group, Randstad's UK Comms Director, Belinda Walmsley, who was instrumental in the firm's research for the latest buzzword in HR circles - ‘Generation R’.

The term describes those professionals who were retained during the recession, escaped redundancy, worked in far leaner teams and so progressed faster than usual as they took on the work of more senior ex-colleagues.

They're filled with confidence as to their own abilities and what they can offer, with high expectations as to what their next move should be.

In short, Generation R employees can cherry pick the very best opportunities - so how can communicators best engage with this emerging group? Belinda will be sharing her thoughts on Thursday 12 May too.

NB: To obtain a special price for just a “one-day” attendance to hear any of the above speakers email brenda@ioic.org.uk
