CiB announces Communicator of the Year Awards 2009

COTY winners 2009The British Association of Communicators in Business (CiB) has recognised the best of the best from a high-quality field with the announcement of its Communicator of the Year Awards 2009.

These awards break new ground by assessing levels of professional attainment, dedication and consistent achievement in an individual or team rather than focusing entirely on a specific output such as a publication, project or campaign.

Louise Birkett (for work on National Grid’s Company News Channel)

Sarah Hodges, Essex County Council

Best communications manager
Cathryn Halton of G4S Secure Solutions (UK)

Winners received their awards at a prestigious industry luncheon at the Sheraton Park Lane Hotel, London on 27 November.

Awards Chairman Dave Morris said:  “Congratulations to all our winners on their outstanding achievements.  Internal communications is as much about the people as it is the products, and I’m delighted this award programme is celebrating the personalities that drive organisational communication.”
