In this influential role, you will work with internal stakeholders to deliver the annual internal communications plan, optimising all appropriate channels. Your goal will be to build a culture of storytelling in which key business messages are communicated to all employees and upward feedback is given in return. To that end, you’ll recruit, engage and utilise a team of Internal Communications “champions,” and work with the Learning & Development Manager to enhance internal communications skills and capabilities across the entire organisation. This will also entail monitoring and measuring the success of communications. A graduate degree or equivalent is required, and ICM qualified is preferable. Your ability to collaborate with external parties will be key to your success. Excellent relationship-building, planning and organisational skills, attention to detail, IT proficiency and poise under pressure are a must. Additionally, knowledge and experience in the following areas is essential: • Communications in a global multi-site business • Developing communications strategy aligned with business and HR strategy • Communications of large-scale change projects • Sound understanding of communication channels • Knowledge and understanding of communication metrics • Managing external providers/suppliers • Track record of delivery both themselves or through others This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in driving the future of an iconic global brand.
