More than 50 companies have already entered their employees on the IoIC internal communication accreditation programme – and the numbers keep climbing. As the programme enters its third year, more companies than ever before are encouraging their people to gain a professional accreditation and are supplying business mentors to help them achieve it. “We have seen a growing trend of companies being prepared to supply quite senior people as mentors to their more junior colleagues and that is something we welcome,” said accreditation programme co-director Steve Knight.“Professionalising the industry will take time and effort and it is encouraging that so many companies want to get involved.” Bookings are now being taken for both the foundation and advanced level programmes due to begin early in 2011.
