The directors of the IoIC regions that hold awards have got together to produce a guide that gives extra support, help and advice to entrants. Regions and Membership director Louise Birkett says: “We hope this will answer many of the questions entrants have, but we know there may be things that, as organisers, we think are logical but leave entrants wondering. So if there are questions which aren’t answered, we’re asking for them to be emailed through so we can include them in future.” The document includes information that applies to all regions, including judging criteria, advice on what should be included in your entry and explanations of why certain information is requested – including why two copies of the entry are required. “It’s the first time all the directors of regions that hold awards have worked together like this and we hope that both members and non-members who enter regional awards will find it useful,” adds Louise. |
