Sherrie Rowlands from Molson Coors (centre) and the CPL team celebrate their award.A little publication that packs a big punch was the toast of this year’s Central Region awards. The newsletter – Cheers, produced by CPL for Molson Coors – was named the overall Tom Dawson winner, reserved for the best of the best in Central.

Cheers had been named Best Relaunched Publication earlier in the awards, which saw hopeful entrants gather at the Leicester Marriott for an evening of great food, great company and sparkling entertainment courtesy of Mr B, the Gentleman Rhymer.

Others celebrating on the night included Agency of the Year 44 Communications (with eight awards and three Class Winners) and Summersault (picking up 11 awards and three Class Winners). Leading the field for corporate internal communications teams were Essex County Council and E.ON UK.

The awards dinner followed Central’s very successful and well-attended annual seminar, where around 50 delegates heard how to use both old and new media to meet the challenges faced by today’s internal communicator.

Photographs are now available from the Central Region Awards. You can view them via this link.

If you wish to buy a hi-res version of one or more of them make a note of the number(s) and then pay online. Once your payment has been processed you will be sent an email with link where you can download the hi-res file.

Thanks to Pictures 55 for photography support.
