The latest State of the Sector survey has now launched focusing on internal communications in the public sector.

Backed by the Institute, it’s open to all communicators in the sector and organisers expect a big response.

To take part, go to www.stateofthesector.co.uk and answer the 27 questions which include the type of comms channels used, how well employees understand the organisation’s mission and values, and the current challenges. The survey will be open until July 22.

It should take around 10 minutes and organisers Gatehouse will donate £5 to the ‘I Can’ charity for every completed questionnaire. ‘I Can’ (www.ican.org.uk) supports the development of speech, language and communication skills in children.

Summary reports will be available free to IoIC members and all who take part, with a full report available directly from Gatehouse. There will also be an opportunity to attend a presentation on the results in each of the Institute’s five regions.
