Take the fear out of having your work judged Potential award-winners can gain a powerful insight into what makes a winning IoIC awards entry at a Central region event in October. IoIC chief executive Steve Doswell, together with past and present IoIC Awards Chairmen Dave Morris and Paul Brasington are among the speakers lined up for the event at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry on Thursday October 6. Central region director Lesley Allman said: “This will be a very practical session, aimed at showing what makes a good entry and how to turn a good one into an outstanding one. “By inviting along people who have judged the process before, attendees will learn exactly what they are looking for – and what misses the mark. “Even if you're not thinking of entering awards yourself, it’s always interesting to learn about best practice and how to present your work so its true value can be seen.” Further details of the event will be announced in the coming weeks. |
