What stops internal communicators from doing the job the way it needs doing?  What stops us having the kind of ‘clout’ we really want?

This is the question key speaker IoIC director Russell-Oliver Brooklands (ROB) will be addressing at a Central region insight event on Thursday November 10

ROB, designer of the Internal Communication Model and author of acclaimed ebook The Uncommon Sense of Internal Communication, will share his views on some of the factors that can still prevent internal communicators from always being taken ‘seriously enough’ and explain the SMARTIED Principle, one of the ideas covered in The Uncommon Sense that is key to all employee attitudes and behaviours.

He’ll be joined by someone who’s studied with him and will share their experiences of putting his ideas into practice.

IoIC Central region director Lesley Allman says: “This promises to be a fascinating session that will help us all look critically at what changes we need to make to ensure that internal communication is taken seriously enough within our organisations.”

Where: NFU Mutual, Stratford on Avon

Cost: £25 + VAT for IoIC members, £35 + VAT for non-members (including refreshments)
