The hunt is on for the icons of internal communication. The ICons are the Institute of Internal Communication’s ‘people’ awards, recognising the qualities in internal communication practitioners that make them stand out from the crowd, achieve outstanding results and make a real difference for their organisations. Entry is now open and there are 14 categories including: in-house team, rising star, line manager, editor, writer, designer, and the internal communicator of the year. Entrants can submit their own entries or be nominated by someone from their team or business. The closing date for award entries is 5 September. Winners will receive their awards at a prestigious industry dinner on 17 November at the London Landmark Hotel.
