IoIC continues to raise standards in the industry. Our professional training courses for internal communications professionals give members and non-members the skills and knowledge they need at all the different stages of their careers.

Alongside its standard programme of corporate communications training courses – with ‘clickable’ course titles on this website – the Association can also arrange bespoke, in-house courses for five or more people, enabling training and development to take place wherever it’s needed.

Assessing your current skills and how they align with the IoIC Accreditation levels

IoIC now provides two independent industry-backed qualifications

Our Foundation level diploma is already available and many students have graduated succesfully.

Our Advanced Diploma is now also available for more experienced Internal Communication practitioners. IoIC is currently developing the curriculum for the third tier offering – more news of that in due course. A fourth tier offering is also planned.

Course: Web writing and editing 1 March

This one-day seminar (9.00am to 5.00pm) is run by Steve Nichols. It offers the latest thinking on writing for the web and the best advice on how to communicate effectively within an internal communication environment.

It looks at the techniques you can use to write better headlines, summaries and copy. It also looks at how to time your stories for maximum impact, get feedback, and encourage people to use your intranet.
