This one-day practical workshop looks at social media in an internal communications environment, and focuses on social networks, multimedia use and blogging, harnessing employee enthusiasm, and understanding social media communications.

    About the tutor

    Simon Wakeman is a freelance consultant and trainer, as well as head of communications and marketing at Medway Council. He is an experienced international presenter and trainer on public sector communications, websites and social media. Simon is a CIPR and CIM qualified marketing and communications professional with experience working across traditional and emerging communications channels in the public and private sectors. He also writes a leading public sector communications blog.
