This course is for people who manage the communications function in an organisation but are not professional communicators. Its primary focus is on staff communications but it will also explore the links with external communications systems.

What we mean by communications strategy - the terminology and the thinking; the elements that make up a strategy and how this impacts upon communications; turning these elements into a communications plan; identifying the appropriate channels for your communications; building feedback into the system; auditing and surveying your audiences; communicating to bring about organisational change.
