Nothing tests your organisation’s internal communications more than a crisis. It can take many forms – accidental, financial, or legal – and it can strike at the things which matter to you most – your reputation and your customer relations. It can come from nowhere. It causes immense pressure and uncertainty for any affected company and its employees. Yet far too many organisations still do not realise that effective employee communication is crucial to managing business crises and protecting reputation and brand.  


Outline

This crisis communications workshop provides you with the skills and knowledge to engage with and to empower your employees, to protect your organisation’s reputation and to convert organisational change caused by the crisis to a competitive advantage. The course also examines how the increasing growth and influence of social media has re-shaped how organisations are expected to communicate during testing times. It gives you the confidence to respond quickly and effectively to employees and all stakeholders and to say and do the right thing if a crisis emerges. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate the learning through practical exercises and to apply it directly to your own workplace situations.
