We have an exciting opportunity at our Support Centre here in Darlington, County Durham, for an experienced Internal Communications Manager to join our fast-moving business.
The purpose of the role is to support the Head of Internal Communications in the delivery of the internal communications strategy and tactical plan across the whole business.
In this role there is a particular focus on channel management and messaging, and we’re looking for someone with experience across the whole range of analogue and digital internal communications, as well as event management experience.
Our business is fast-paced, changeable and you’ll need to be comfortable with ambiguity.

And as our ‘channel champion’, you must have strong copywriting skills, with proven experience of editing and producing internal communications content for newsletters, magazines and the intranet.
You’ll definitely have recent and relevant experience in internal communications at a management level including, but not limited to; company intranet, social platforms, enterprise social networks, email, newsletters, magazines as well as managing events.
We would expect you to be a member of the Institute of Internal Communications (IoIC) and hold a relevant Internal Communications qualification.
