As Richard Branson says: “Clients do not come first. Employees come first. If you take care of your employees, they will take care of the clients.” Despite the popularity of this quote, whereas organisations spend big budgets chasing new leads and keeping current customers satisfied, few spend as much time and money on the people who truly make the organisation succeed or fail: the employees.

This virtual learning course, delivered over two half-days on 4 February from 2 - 5pm and 11 February from 2 - 5pm, is for you if:

  • Your employee experience (EX) doesn’t receive the same level of focus and funding as your customer experience
  • You want to be able to demonstrate the ROI for EX to the organisation
  • You’re unclear what the ROI of your employees is
  • You believe you could do more to improve your EX with better funding
  • There’s a productivity gap at your organisation

Course leads Mike Sharples and Nicholas Wardle are highly-experienced and award-winning EX thought leaders and co-authors of a powerful new book: Monetising the Employee Experience: How to prove the ROI for investing in your people and unlock lost productivity.

 Learning objectives

By the end of the course, delegates will:

  •  Understand why EX is integral to organisational success
  • Review some ground-breaking EX research which can be used at your organisation
  • Understand how much more productive and profitable your organisation could be if you had a more motivated workforce
  • Move away from soft metrics to those which catch the attention of senior leaders
  • Learn how to build the business case for investing in your people

The programme consists of

  • The impact a positive EX can have on the bottom line
  • Why it’s easier to achieve ROI from EX than CX
  • The barriers to offering a great EX
  • The EXO survey and other related research
  • The importance of a demonstrable ROI of EX
  • The Three Es of Productivity
  • The difference between extrinsic and intrinsic motivation
  • The EXOpportunity (ROI) Calculator
  • How to create the business case for investment in EX

Additional benefits

Additional benefits include:

  • Receive an overview of the EX Toolkit, which will enable you to shape how to create a great EX
  • Learn more about what motivates employees via an introduction to mojo – the motivation platform
  • Have some practical experience of using Mural, an online collaboration tool
  • Collaborate and connect with peers who you can then buddy with throughout your EX improvement journey

Please note that we use Zoom for our online courses. Please ensure that you are able to access this system where you are based before booking your place. All times are in GMT.
