Covering the 6 professional areas of the profession map and broken down over 4 experience bands, the IoIC competency framework provides information on the core skills, knowledge and behaviours IC practitioners should be looking to build as they progress through their career.  

The competency framework can be used as a reference tool to help you think about where you are now and where you want to be, making the process of approaching your personal development easier, and can also be used as a great tool for the IoIC CPD Programme. It can increase clarity around performance expectations and establish a clear link between individual and organisational performance.
