Celebrating in Slovenia, in the historic Grand Hotel Union in Ljubjlana, more than 70 people from around Europe came together to celebrate Europe’s best in internal communication.
 
Twelve winning entries were announced at FEIEA’s 2018 Grand Prix – the 25th anniversary of the awards – on 22 November ranging from best internal communication strategy to best digital communication.

Five UK entries made it through as finalists representing work for Air Astana, Lloyds Commercial Banking, Nationwide Building Society, Nestle and Octapharma.  
 
The winning entries had been through three rounds of both national and European panel judging to be decided as winners. The event was organised by FEIEA and the Slovenian association, PRSS. Find out who the winners are by clicking here.
 
That afternoon delegates had gathered to hear from some of last year’s award-winning entries, as well as a keynote speech from Geert Nijs, KBC bank Belgium, on his experience of internal communication culture in an agile organization. They also took part in a discussion with a panel of FEIEA member associations from Italy, Denmark, Slovenia, Portugal and Spain on the top three key challenges facing European communicators.

The challenges were identified by a combined FEIEA and Italian association, ASCAI, research earlier this year.
