IoIC Central's Annual Seminar 2016 will take place in Leicester on Friday February 26.

The aim will be to help communicators keep ahead of the internal communications curve and understand the importance of purpose in 2016.

The world is changing at an unprecedented pace, which means how we communicate and engage with employees is evolving too. People are demanding a stronger sense of purpose in their lives and in their work.

But what does this mean for you and your work?

At IoIC’s ninth annual central region seminar you’ll be able to hear from some of the UK’s leading communication and employee engagement experts. Speakers at the half-day event, starting at 12noon, will include:

  • Cathy Brown (pictured), executive director at Engage For Success
  • Craig Millar, professional speechwriter and TEDx speaker coach
  • Richard Thomson, managing director at Kaptcha
  • Sean Trainor, managing director of Uber Engagement
  • Andrew Harvey, executive director, internal communications practice, VMA Group.

IoIC members can book a place at the early bird price of £79+VAT until January 31.

The same venue, the Leicester Marriott Hotel, will also host the IoIC Central & North Awards Dinner during the evening on the same day (Friday February 26). IoIC members can book a place at the dinner from £80+VAT and there is a price reduction for a table of 10.

And there's a special offer for those wanting to join IoIC: if you book for both the seminar and the awards dinner, we'll waive the joining fee for IoIC membership (£60) and you can also attend the event at the member rate. That's a saving of over £100!
