Did you know that, as an IoIC member, you are entitled to free advice on business issues?

All Institute members have access to the Croner Business Support Helpline. This gives you the power to deal with legal, compliance and tax issues before they impact on your business, performance or reputation.

You can call a qualified expert and you won’t need to watch the clock as your call is not ‘on the meter’ and the cost will be covered by the Institute.

Advice subjects include:

  • employment law
  • human resources
  • health & safety
  • tax, VAT, PAYE, NIC and payroll
  • commercial matters, covering 60 topics from commercial contracts and insolvency to data protection and property law.

Remember, getting these things wrong can be expensive – a case of unfair dismissal could take 33 hours of specialist advice and cost £6,600, while the average health & safety fine is £7,130.
