IoIC Live offers insight and practical discussion on engagement and diversity

As head of employee experience at Harrods, one of the world’s most iconic retail brands, Niall Ryan-Jones is responsible for the strategic direction of internal communication, employer value proposition, compensation, benefits, reward and recognition.
At the IoIC Live conference in May, Niall (left) will explain how diversity within Harrods involves tapping into the various requirements employees have of their journey through the employee lifecycle. He will consider the numerous experiences employees have with the organisation, their manager and the job they do, irrelevant of generational profile, religious beliefs, gender, etc.
Niall will share how data and insight can provide tangible proof points of the activities that are driving results, which he believes bring sharper focus to what engagement actually is and how that helps develop the employment experience.
“My approach at a customer-centric organisation like Harrods is essential as there needs to be integrity and authenticity in an employee experience, which espouses the customer experience,” says Niall. "That’s something that is particularly important in a service-led industry.”
Come to IoIC Live in Bristol in May and hear more from Niall and thought-provoking insight and practical tips for the workplace.
This year’s event, one of the most important on the internal comms calendar, looks at how practitioners can make IC the beating heart of the organisation.
To convince and engage at all levels, internal comms teams need sharp skills, an arsenal of tools, and confidence to deliver what’s best for their audiences and organisations. This year, IoIC Live17 focuses on the core skills that IC professionals need to demonstrate each and every day.
