Industry News

There’s no denying that 2016 has been an eventful year for all of us. From the loss of numerous icons such as David Bowie and Prince; the announcement that Britain is to leave the EU and Donald Trump is to be the next American President; and Mary Berry's departure from the Bake Off.

It’s also been an eventful year for the IoIC. We’ve gone back to print with our new magazine, Voice; introduced multiple new training courses to add to your calendars; and relaunched our membership grades to enable our members to demonstrate their professional standards.
So if, like many of us, 2016 has left you asking ‘What just happened?’, we’ve put together an infographic to highlight exactly what has happened at the IoIC over the past year. We’d like to thank all of our members, customers, and volunteers for your continued support during the last 12 months and we look forward to working with you all in 2017, here’s hoping we’re not asking ourselves the same question by the end of it.
