Celebrating the work and the people

Internal Communication is firmly at the heart of organisations, helping to shape and transform our organisation’s reputation through our people.  As IC professionals we have an increasing strategic focus and work more collaboratively with colleagues across our organisations.  As we strive to inform, excite and engage our colleagues, we find ever more new and interesting ways to communicate with them. We embrace creativity and technology in our day to day work and we are getting more sophisticated at measuring the impact of what we do.
IoIC is the only independent and not-for-profit organisation solely dedicated to promoting a deeper understanding of internal communication and helping our members to be the best they can be both today, and in the future. The Institute also has more than 65 years of experience in driving the profession forward through qualifications, career development, thought leadership and best practice.

And of course, through awards!
We aim, through our awards, to recognise the great work in the profession – the examples that celebrate their creators but also inspire others.
Following your feedback, we have this year overhauled the award categories and classes. We have reintegrated the people-based ICoN categories into the main awards so that we celebrate both the people and their work side by side.  We hope there is a category which fits the bill for you – please get in touch if you have any queries about which category (ies) to enter.
Our panel of senior and experienced professionals, all experts in their field, evaluate all the work and offer critiques and feedback to help pinpoint great practice and offer areas of potential improvement and development. Standards are high and winners can truly count themselves as operating at the top of the class.
Having entered, and been lucky enough to win, in the past, I know that the IoIC awards are a great way to document, improve and celebrate what we do and look forward to seeing your entries in this year’s awards and celebrating with you at the awards dinner.
Good luck
