Choosing the IoIC Live annual conference theme ‘Facing the Future with Confidence’ nine months ago, we had no idea of just how much our ‘future’ would be turned upside down.

We’ve taken the time to digest the impact of recent events and this year’s IoIC Live is exploring how our profession can now make the best of this new future together in a series of four mini-events including:

  • The importance of community in the fragmented workplace – effective collaboration, building IC community, the technology to support us, and the new skills and talents we’ll need
  • Leadership: a change for good – what does ‘best in class’ leadership look like, how the pandemic has changed leadership for good, how internal communication professionals can work with leaders to get the best from them/for the organisation
  • Building ethics and trust – – trust and ethics are higher up the business agenda and influencing employee voice and choice. We’re looking at the legacy impact of how brands and companies 'behaved' in lockdown, to how organisations and IC will handle the rising challenges of job losses, budget cuts
  • Celebrating success – we’re coming together as a community to celebrate the stories of success, determination and impact of the internal communication profession in a challenging year by showcasing our Award Winners.

Each of the four session will be practical, insightful and interactive. We’re featuring experiences from leading brands along with useful thought leadership, networking, and valuable time to pause and reflect.
