The wraps are off the Better Connected conference, which is helping to re-ignite the Institute of Internal Communication in the North.

Nine great speakers and a day-long format covering subjects that are top of the IC agenda will give delegates an opportunity to learn new ideas, share experiences and connect with like-minded IC professionals.

How to better connect your people to your strategy and purpose: Paul Diggins, head of IC and brand engagement at Direct Line Group and Pauline Prow, chief people officer at Monarch Airlines Group.

How to give your middle managers the skills and tools they need to better connect with their teams: Victoria Wright, senior specialist in communications and employee engagement.

How to better connect your people to new brand positioning and ways of working: Gill Galassi, head of corporate communications at Well, formerly known as The Co-operative Pharmacy.

How to better connect your communication outcomes with organisational performance: Andrew Denton, director of communications and Kate Bromley, IC manager at Best Western Hotels.

How to better connect your people with social media and digital: Rich Baker, Internal Communications and Employee Engagement Director at andpartnership.

How to better connect what we do to the changing role of internal communication: Andrew Harvey, executive director, internal communications practice, and Julie Mazzei, managing consultant, UK North & Midlands practice, at VMA Group.
