Jennifer Sproul has been appointed as IoIC’s head of commercial.


In her role she will take responsibility for substantially increasing IoIC’s income across the range of IoIC’s activities, including sponsorship.

Jennifer (pictured) spent 12 years with the Market Research Society where she was most recently business development director. Jennifer, who lives in Milton Keynes, will join IoIC later this month.

“We’ve created the role to strengthen the Institute’s commercial capability," says IoIC chief executive Steve Doswell.

"This doesn’t mean that we will become primarily commercially driven – we remain a not-for-profit organisation and our purpose remains to be the professional body for the internal communication sector with all that that entails.

"However, we need a stronger commercial focus in order to generate the income that will fund our ambitious development programme.

"This role provides that focus and in Jennifer we’ve been able to recruit someone with an excellent track record in realising the commercial potential for an eminent professional body. This is a very good moment for IoIC.”
