Join the movement that’s proving the impact of internal communication on employee engagement

IoIC is a proud supporter of Engage for Success, a growing and voluntary movement promoting employee engagement as a better way to work that benefits the individual employees, teams and whole organisations.  Communicate for Success is the dedicated Thought and Action Group (TAG) looking at the ways in which internal communication drives employee engagement. This TAG has already produced two fantastic toolkits on the role of engagement champions and their use within organisations and also looked at the most effective communication channels for a variety of audiences and in particular communicating and engaging with remote workforces.  You can download these reports from the Engage for Success website.
In the next phase we are looking for more volunteers to help steer the agenda and we would love the IoIC community to get involved and actively contribute.  This would involve working with the members of the TAG to look at key topics with the aim to produce content and outputs that can be wide ranging to include toolkits, videos and thought pieces  to raise best practice standards and ultimately help professionals and organisations utilise communication to deliver improved employee engagement and experience.

The Communicate for Success TAG is now being chaired by Clare Joslin-Smith, Head of IC and Engagement at Bidfood, and Jennifer Sproul, Chief Executive of the Institute of Internal Communication, and this is your opportunity to get involved.

Volunteering to be part of the TAG will be a rewarding experience as you will get to build your knowledge, grow your network and be part of a movement dedicated to improving working lives.  We are looking for people who have the passion and time to help us create tangible outputs for the Engage for Success movement and as such we will be organising a face-to-face workshop in Spring 2019 to brainstorm ideas and create an action plan to take forward.
If you would like to find out more and get involved please do get in touch and as we would be delighted to hear from you.  Email [email protected] and/or [email protected]
