This week’s IoIC Insight seminar programme arms internal communicators with learning, best practice and take-away tips on re-engaging and supporting employees through turmoil and change.

The seminar focuses on how communicators need to be bold in times of uncertainty especially post-Brexit, playing an active role in supporting organizations and preventing a downward spiral of anxiety and fear impacting on business performance.
Three top speakers will share the theory, the practice and their own first-hand experiences.
  • Hannah Awcock, from the Internal and Change Communications team at HMRC, will be talking about how they are supporting people through massive change as the Department transforms the way it does business, including moving services online and consolidating from 170 offices to 13 new Regional Centres by 2021.
  • Paul Osgood, former Global Head of Internal Communications at exploration, production and LNG company, BG Group, outlines the lessons learned from keeping 5,000 employees in 70 countries engaged, informed, and motivated through one of the world’s biggest take-overs, Shell’s acquisition of BG.
  • Minerva Engagement will share latest research and best practice into the impact of change and uncertainty in the workplace. They draw on neuroscience and leadership insight to challenge us to think and act differently, connecting across the business using engaging communication.
