We are thrilled to announce that IoIC Board Director, Liz Cochrane, was awarded the FEIEA Honour Diploma at the FEIEA Council meeting held in Ljubljana last month

Liz joined the IoIC Board in 2012 and leads IoIC’s professional development and accreditation.

Her career has included course director of Kingston University’s MA in internal communication management and a director of an employee research organisation.

IoIC is honouring Liz for her key role in developing our professional qualifications. In 2017/18 through her dedication, the Masters in Internal Communication Management successfully transferred to a new university ensuring its continuation as the highest academic qualification dedicated to the practice of internal communication.

Liz went above and beyond to ensure the programme reflects the current internal communicator’s role, but also developed a learning structure that gives students the best experience to create a profession of internal communicators that can operate at the highest level in their organisations.

The relaunched degree course began in September with 24 students and marks a significant milestone for the IoIC, completing our professional development and accreditation offer.

Liz is passionate about the difference effective internal communication can make to the quality of people’s lives and to the success of organisations and every day demonstrates her commitment to IoIC and transforming our discipline into a profession by equipping internal communication professionals with the skills, knowledge and expertise needed to have real impact in the workplace.
