A new Good Practice Guide is available from the Institute of Business Ethics (IBE) this month – Communicating Ethical Values internally.

How do you go about communicating something as nebulous as ‘integrity’?

How can you communicate the ethical standards of an organisation effectively, so that they are not only understood, but are embedded in decision-making and behaviour?

The guide explores these issues, sharing examples of ways of communicating messages about ethical values to employees so that they are empowered to ‘do the right thing’. It also examines the role of internal communication in establishing a corporate culture.

The IBE Good Practice Guide is available from www.ibe.org.uk The full retail price is £22.50 inc p&p, but IoIC members benefit from a 15% discount. The discount code is available from 'Knowledge Bank' area of this site (find it in the drop-down menu from 'IoIC Knows').
