We’re sad to share the news that IoIC Membership & Operations manager Tim Beynon died in hospital on Sunday after a short battle with cancer. His wife Susan said that she felt very fortunate that she was able to be with him throughout the early hours of Sunday until he slipped away peacefully.

Tim had been with IoIC for 14 years and was a much valued and respected member of the HQ team.

“Tim was a lynchpin within the HQ team, always at the end of a phone or email and willing to deliver over and above to help members and his colleagues in HQ,” said IoIC President Suzanne Peck. “We will miss his calm presence and professionalism – especially around annual awards time – and send our sympathy and love to his family.”

Chief Executive Jennifer Sproul said: "Tim was a kind, caring and adventurous man. Throughout my time at the IoIC, he had always been a tremendous support to me personally. He truly loved the IoIC and all our members, and the team and I are going to miss him greatly. Our thoughts are with his wife and family."

We are collecting memories of Tim for a future issue of Voice. If anyone would like to contribute a few words, please send them to [email protected] or you can share these at the online condolences space, which we will make sure we share with his wife and  family.
