IoIC Live looks at what makes a successful intranet. For an intranet to be a vital source of knowledge, it needs to be built on a foundation of great content tailored to the audience's needs.
Since joining global law firm Linklaters in 2010, Angela Rossiter (left) has led the development and implementation of its award-winning intranet to enable the company’s lawyers – working across 20 countries – to more effectively search for and access the information and knowhow they need, share knowledge and improve business efficiency.
At next month’s IoIC Live 2017 conference in Bristol, Angela will provide an insight into the journey of Linklaters’ intranet and will share some of the challenges and lessons learned along the way, including the consolidation, migration and decommissioning of a number of legacy platforms. She will provide an overview of the content lifecycle approach and why the intranet plays such a crucial role in enabling effective knowledge management and global collaboration.
“The success of any intranet can be directly attributed to the quality and trust people have in being able to easily, quickly and reliably find and access the information, knowledge and expertise they need to do their job.” says Angela. “Making the firm’s collective knowledge available to all our people globally enables us to deliver services entirely focused on our clients and their business needs.”
Come to IoIC Live in Bristol in May and hear from Angela and thought-provoking insight and practical tips for the workplace from other industry experts.
