After the success of last year’s inaugural Voice Live, the event where IC professionals come to talk is back.

On Tuesday 19 November, IoIC’s membership publication, Voice, will be brought to life in London at a full-day event – and you can book your place now (details below).

Discussions on key IC topics

The magazine “where IC professionals come to talk” is letting you do just that through a lively, interactive event that reflects on the good, the bad and the ugly of internal comms.
We’ll offer advice, insight and caffeine – and you’ll have valuable conversations with your peers about the ideas and challenges.
Held at the Crypt on the Green in Farringdon, London, Voice Live will be a day-long event that brings elements of the magazine to life:

  • In-depth features will be delivered as engaging panel sessions
  • Our one-page Perspective columns will be presented as short bursts of insight from expert speakers on various topics
  • You will hear one team’s challenges, successes and advice in our Inside Story case study
  • The magazine’s bitesize vox pops will be re-imagined as small break-out discussions on common and quirky IC quandaries.

Speakers and sessions confirmed so far will explore themes such as:

  • what internal comms can learn from colleagues in customer experience
  • supporting employees with disabilities
  • new IC professionals: what do they need and what can they offer?

More themes, ideas and sessions will be announced in the coming weeks – watch this space.

Voice magazine

Voice is the quarterly magazine for IoIC members. It launched in January 2017 and issue 8 is out in September 2018. It’s packed with research, practical guidance and opinion from around the industry and has quickly become a key tool for IC professionals, with our recent survey of members revealing it to be the top benefit of IoIC membership.

The magazine won its first award in May – best magazine launch/relaunch in the memcom Membership Excellence Awards – and it is up for a best association magazine award next month, when the results of the Association Excellence Awards are revealed.

Book your place now

The event is on Tuesday 20 November at The Underdog in London Bridge.
The cost for this event is £295 for non-IoIC members, and £250 for IoIC members. This includes participation in all sessions throughout the day, and lunch. The event is expected to run until 5.30/6pm, with an opportunity for post-event refreshments from the venue bar.
