New approaches to workforce optimisation

With so much uncertainty and ambiguity in the external environment, organisations must adapt, or face the consequences.

Yet too few organisations are thinking deeply enough about the operating principles they use to structure themselves. How fit for purpose are existing organising frameworks against the current socio-economic backdrop? How do we reach optimal performance in the hyper-connected, distributed age?

As we recalibrate towards very different work futures, the relationships we have with work colleagues have never been more important. We need to be able to trust those around us.

Communication is the essential glue that holds relationships together. Every conversation has the potential to reinforce a sense of connection and belonging, or, conversely, to reduce it. Words and interactions matter.

Communication is a primary human skill. It’s what will enable our organisations to collaborate, innovate, survive and thrive in the years ahead. World-class internal communication has never been more critical.
