We have chosen to theme this issue of Voice on perhaps the most prominent topic of the moment – leadership, management and trust. Research shows that poor communication skills among line managers and leaders is one of the main barriers to successful internal communication, but also one of the most important touch points for creating trust. Managing the former to leverage the latter is a constant struggle for the IC practitioner.
