IoIC National Awards 2022 - Winners Announced! IoIC, The Institute of Internal Communication

Nearly 400 internal communication professionals came together on Friday 23 September at The Brewery, London to celebrate the winners of the IoIC National Awards 2022.

Our Awards Chair, Justine Stevenson and IoIC’s Chief Exec Jennifer Sproul were happy and excited to welcome winners onto the stage.

Jennifer started off the evening's celebrations saying: "After the past couple of years, it still makes me feel wonderful that we can all come together in one room to celebrate…we should all feel immensely proud of the work this profession does to create better organisations and a better society."

Justine remarked on how the entry standards get higher each year: "There’s no doubt the past 12 months have continued to be challenging and, the next 12 are looking somewhat uncertain too. However, presiding over these awards brings me nothing but pride and optimism – you all continue to wow me with your professionalism, adaptability and creativity. We continue to demonstrate how vital internal communications is within organisations and that’s something we should all be proud of.”

The crowd’s musical knowledge was tested with half time show from Musical Bingo, dance moves were on show and prizes were won. It was a wonderful, celebratory evening – congratulations to all the winners.

Class winners trophies were handed out, along with a #WeMatterAtWork Award and once again the Grand Prix Award winner was the pinnacle of the evening. This top trophy went to: Retention through communication: Being a Rewarding, Reliable and Respectful place to work. For our business - Rygor by our internal communications team.
