Since announcing the FutureNet network at the beginning of 2018, we've been overwhelmed with the enthusiasm and support that we've received from both members and other professionals in the IC world. We've already held our first meeting for the FutureNet committee - a group of inspiring, passionate and active members of the network itself - and have some exciting ideas in the pipeline.

At the first in a series of FutureNet events, we'll be joined by Glenn Elliott, author of 'The Rebel Playbook for Employee Engagement' and Justine Stevenson, Head of Internal Communication at London Stock Exchange, as they share their insights on employee engagement and career development and answer your questions. Plus there'll be the opportunity to network with your peers and meet the FutureNet committee members.

The agenda for the event is as follows:

18.00: Arrive at VMAGROUP's Bedford Square head office

18.10: Welcome and Introduction from the FutureNet committee

18.15: Glenn Elliott, 'A Rebel's Guide to Employee Engagement' plus Q&A

18.45: Justine Stevenson, 'My Internal Communication Journey' plus Q&A

19.15 onwards: Drinks and networking

The FutureNet network is a free benefit to all IoIC members who meet the FutureNet entry criteria. Non IoIC members are welcome to attend if they meet the FutureNet criteria (i.e. less than 3 years' experience in internal communication) and there will be a small fee to attend. All attendees will receive a copy of Glenn Elliott's best-selling book.

If you have any questions about FutureNet, the event or you would like to contribute to future events, please email [email protected]
