Organisational change is no longer episodic. It’s constant, overlapping, and accelerating. Drawing on new research from H/Advisors and YouGov, this session explores how senior leaders are experiencing the new era of continuous change – and what it demands of internal communications.
75% of the 600+ leaders surveyed believe change has accelerated in the last 12 months, and 82% expect further acceleration in the year ahead. Crucially, leaders are not responding to a single driver of transformation but multiple pressures simultaneously, from AI to geopolitics, environmental goals to economic uncertainty.
With change accelerating everywhere, recovery periods have disappeared. Communicators can no longer follow the familiar pattern of ‘plan, launch, land, recover.’ Instead, they must learn to lead without a landing.
Three takeaways from the session:
- Shift from managing projects to strengthening the system
- Build narrative continuity, not just campaign moments
- Focus on building coherence, not overcoming resistance
