Business Gateway’s “Gateway to the Future” project aimed to redesign its service to better support Scotland’s business community amid post-pandemic and economic challenges. BIG Partnership developed an internal communications strategy to engage a geographically dispersed team across 32 local authorities. Without centralised communication tools, BIG used creative approaches, such as regular mailers, workshops (FutureLABs) and an ambassador programme, to promote participation and alignment.
The campaign successfully united diverse teams, achieving 65 per cent attendance at workshops and over 10 per cent volunteer sign-up for the ambassador programme. The initiative strengthened understanding, engagement and commitment to Business Gateway’s long-term transformation goals.
