As new generative and agentic AI’s become commercially available, the way colleagues access and consume information and knowledge at work is set to transform. Rather than browse an intranet, soon colleagues will interact with AI agents that cross-reference, interpret, summarise proprietary information and deliver insights in a fashion that’s customised to the unique needs of each user.

This presents a massive opportunity for internal communicators, assuming of course that current intranet set-ups are optimally configured.

This episode, digital employee experience consultant Suzie Robinson shares her experience of working with intranets and her predictions for how AI will transform the workplace in the coming years.

About Suzie Robinson

Suzie is an intranet and digital employee experience consultant at Clearbox Consulting where she manages the production of their Insights reports. Suzie has worked with intranets since 2008 and has practical experience with all aspects of an intranet lifecycle, from research, to implementation, to ongoing governance, and overall strategy.

Suzie’s intranet experience has grown out of the roots of internal communication, so she has a focus on employee experience and engagement, plus strong content. Remote and difficult to reach users were often the core user-base for the intranets Suzie managed, so she has extensive experience at finding ways to engage and connect a broad audience range.

Suzie is a skilled writer (not just of reviews, she’s also a published author) and editor, and she is active in the internal communications community, both writing and getting up to speak at conferences. Suzie is always happy to have a chat, so please feel free to follow her on LinkedIn.
