Programme Overview

Internal communication professionals operate at the centre of organisational change, culture and leadership communication. They connect strategy with employees, build alignment across functions and help organisations navigate transformation. Yet, despite their influence, many communication professionals receive little formal development in leadership, stakeholder management or strategic influence.

Whether they lead a team, manage projects or work as individual contributors, communication professionals are expected to build trust, influence decisions, navigate competing priorities and drive collaboration across the organisation - often without formal authority.

The Collaborative Leadership Programme is a six-month leadership development journey designed specifically for internal communication professionals who want to increase their impact and strengthen their leadership capabilities.

Combining insights from neuroscience, behavioural science, organisational psychology and communication leadership, the programme helps participants better understand how people think, respond to change, build trust and collaborate under pressure.

Through interactive workshops, peer learning, coaching conversations and practical workplace application, participants develop the skills to influence stakeholders, navigate difficult conversations, build stronger partnerships and contribute more strategically to organisational goals.

The programme is built around two complementary frameworks: SHIFT and ALIGN. Together, they guide participants from self-awareness and personal leadership development towards stronger influence, collaboration and strategic impact.

By the end of the programme, participants will have developed greater leadership confidence, stronger stakeholder relationships and practical tools to increase their influence across the organisation.

Who is it for?

This programme is designed for internal communication professionals at specialist, manager and business-partner level who want to strengthen their leadership confidence, influence stakeholders and move from communication delivery to strategic organisational impact.
