About the IOIC Awards.

Seventy-one years of recognising the work that makes organisations stronger. From individual practitioners to whole organisation campaigns, these are the awards that set the standard for the profession.

The work matters.

When internal communication is done well, organisations perform better. People collaborate more. Change lands more effectively. Trust builds. The profession has always known this  and every year the IOIC Awards prove it, entry by entry.

What makes this moment interesting is that the work keeps getting harder and better at the same time. New technology, new expectations, new ways of reaching people. The standard these awards celebrate is not fixed. It moves with the profession.

Better performance

Organisations that communicate well internally deliver stronger results across collaboration, innovation and reputation.

A profession that evolves

Creativity, technology and measurement are raising the bar every year. These awards celebrate that progress.

Recognition with purpose

Winners show what good looks like, not just for their organisation but for the whole profession.

You find out why, not just if.

Every entry is assessed by a panel of senior internal communicators working to the highest standards in the profession. But this is not just a competition. Every entry receives a written critique with honest, expert feedback that tells you what landed, what could go further and where the opportunity lies.

That combination of recognition and insight is what makes entering worthwhile, win or not.

A word from our Awards Chair.

For over 70 years these Awards have shone a light on the people, teams and ideas that create meaningful connections inside organisations. That tradition continues in 2026, and so does our commitment to evolving alongside the profession we serve.

Every entry will be rigorously assessed and you will receive written feedback offering real insight for your future work. That is a commitment we make to every entrant, every year.

The award dinner is always a night of celebration, generosity and inspiration, and I cannot wait to see what you submit.

Good luck.

Justine Stevenson,
IOIC Awards Chair
