Addea Amoa FIIC
Addea is a seasoned Internal Communication professional with over 20 years of experience helping people at work feel informed, connected, and purposeful. Over the last 12 years, she has focused her attention on change communication and has worked on some significant programmes at organisations such as Transport for London and Shell.
​Addea lives in London with her 10-year-old daughter. Outside of work she enjoys all things art and design, listening to music, podcasts and audio books, going to concerts, and most recently, has added competing in insane fitness challenges to her list of hobbies.
Andrew Harvey
Andrew Harvey is CEO at VMA Group, an international recruitment and executive search specialist, in Communications, Marketing and Digital. VMA Group operates the UK’s largest Interim and Permanent, Internal Comms recruitment team.
Andrew is a Board Director at the Institute of Internal Communication and sits on its Professional Development Advisory Board.
Dominic Walters FIIC
Dominic has specialised in leadership and direct manager communication and development for over 30 years. He has worked in senior ‘in-house’ roles and as a coach and consultant in the UK, Europe, Asia and the US, supporting leadership teams across a range of sectors.
He has also featured in print, TV and audio promoting effective leadership communication and is the co-host of the Future of Internal Communication podcast. Dominic has worked with line manager groups for a range of clients including recently United Biscuits, H&M, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue and Telia Group.
Dominic is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and past national Chairman, Governance Adviser and Fellow of the Institute of Internal Communication.
Jennifer Sproul
Jennifer is responsible for the leadership of IoIC, the only independent professional body solely dedicated to internal communication. IoIC is the voice of internal communication, setting standards for more than 70 years through qualifications, career development, thought leadership and best practice.
Prior to joining IoIC, Jennifer has worked for over 20 years in professional associations, most recently as Strategic Marketing & Sales Director at the Market Research Society, developing and leading on activities across marketing communications (both internal & external), careers, membership, professional development and publishing.

Jody Lewis CIIC
Jody has been a communications professional for nearly 20 years working in a range of roles across both internal and external communications in the financial services and energy sectors. He is currently the Colleague Communications Director at Centrica, having previously led the Internal Communications team at Lloyds Banking Group. Prior to that, Jody was Head of Communications for Bank of Scotland and also Lloyds Banking Group’s Consumer Finance business with responsibility for internal communications and media relations. Jody believes in the fantastic power of effective, impactful communications to help drive improved engagement and performance across all businesses and organisations. He is honoured and excited to have been elected as an IoIC Board member and looks forward to working with the full IoIC community to continue developing our profession.
Joe Salmon FIIC
With over two decades internal comms experience including in-house, freelance consultant, and agency, Joe specialises in leadership communications, employee engagement, organisational culture, and communicating change.
Joe's career highlights include senior communication roles at Vodafone, BT, Inmarsat, Spotify, and Hill & Knowlton Strategies. Where he designed and developed compelling employee campaigns to help his global clients to grow from the inside out, by building pride, advocacy, a sense of belonging, and excitement!
An elected Board Director and Fellow at the Institute of Internal Communications, trailblazer for the UK Black Comms Network, and mentor to others in the IC profession. Joe has a Post Graduate Diploma in Internal Communication Management. Is an event host, panelist, and guest speaker, and featured on the PRovoke Media Innovator 25 list.
Justine Stevenson FIIC
I am a passionate believer in Internal Communication, in the benefits to organisations and the individuals working in them.
I have more than 20 years of experience of internal communication across Government, Financial Services FMCG and Education. I have worked extensively in international and global organisations and enjoy communicating across cultures - with all the opportunities and challenges that brings.
I have been a member of IOIC for 20+ years, on the Board for a good proportion of them and I head up our annual IOIC awards.
Laura Colantuono CIIC
Laura is a communications professional with over 12 years of experience gained in global organisations.
She’s Italian but has lived abroad for most of her life. Laura started her career as a journalist to then join Unilever Italy in 2010, where she discovered her passion for Internal Communications.
In 2014, she joined the luxury fashion brand Fendi to lead the global IC function and in 2019 she moved to London, where she joined Harrods as Internal Communications Manager. In 2020, she returned to the FMCG sector and joined The Kraft Heinz Company as Head of Internal Communications, International. After a short assignment at the fintech Klarna, she has recently joined the media company Fremantle, where she leads the global Internal Communications team.
Liz Cochrane FIIC
Board Director and Chair of the Professional Development Advisory Board at the Institute of Internal Communication.
I am the course director for the Masters in Internal Communication Management, and also responsible at Board level for IoIC's Professional Development activities. I'm also a director of Facta Consult, a small employee research consultancy focused on helping organisations understand the perspective of their people. My background includes managing communication in-house, consultancy and training. I'm passionate about the difference internal communication can make, and privileged to be playing my part in that through IoIC.
Paul Diggins FIIC
Paul has worked in Internal Communications for almost 25 years. Having learned his trade at Barclays, he has since worked at a range of businesses in a number of sectors. Most notably, he was the IC lead on the merger between T-Mobile and Orange that led to the creation of EE. Following this, he joined RBS to work on the separation of the insurance division and the subsequent flotation of the Direct Line Group. As well as these businesses, he’s led the IC functions of Rolls-Royce PLC, Elsevier (a division of RELX PLC) and is currently the head of IC at Santander UK PLC.
Shalini Gupta FIIC
With over two decades of international experience, Shalini has extensive experience of advising leadership teams during periods of change and delivering communications that drive successful business outcomes. Shalini's career highlights include roles across India, Middle East and the UK at RSA, GE Capital, Aviva, BT, NatWest group and since Sept 2022 at Arup where she is the Head of Internal Communications for the UKIMEA region. In her current role, Shalini has established a talented team who thrive on connecting people to the organisation’s purpose, bringing the stories of colleagues and clients they support to life. As a passionate Fellow of the IoIC, Shalini is a keen mentor for young talent and champions diversity of voice within our industry.
