Melanie has 27 years of experience leading strategic, professional, organisational communications, with 17 of the most recent years specifically leading on internal communications and employee engagement. Experience in professional services, technology and manufacturing, housing and healthcare. Global and UK, ranging from large complex group-structured organisations with headcounts of over 14,000 employees, to smaller organisations of around 1,000 employees. Key skills involve strategic inclusive planning, crisis management, change communications, EDI and well-being.
Through her work Melanie is responsible for directing and leading the development and execution of global internal communications and employee engagement strategies, and implementing plans and activities that are aligned with business goals, strategic priorities and overall communications strategy.
Alongside this, Melanie’s work is aimed at significantly improving employee culture, advocacy, pride, staff embodiment of values & behaviours, internal trust, the employer brand and reputation.
