The authoritative voice on internal communication. We are here for comment, insight and expertise. If you are looking for a perspective on how organisations communicate with the people inside them, you are in the right place.

Who we are.

The Institute of Internal Communication (IOIC) is the only professional association dedicated exclusively to internal communication. We set the standards, develop the practitioners and make the case for why this profession matters. We have been doing it since 1949, and our spokespeople can provide expert comment, data and perspective on the role of communication in organisational performance, from trust and leadership to culture, change and the future of work.
