IoIC Board appointments

Six IC professionals are joining the IoIC Board, bringing skills and experience from diverse backgrounds, sectors and organisations to help advance the Institute’s work.

27 May 2022

The six were voted on to the Board from a shortlist of 18 exceptional candidates. Three of the six candidates have been reappointed, after their last three-year tenure expired: Liz Cochrane, Andrew Harvey and Justine Stevenson.

And three people join the Board for the first time: Laura Colantuono, Will Fox and Joe Salmon.

Suzanne Peck, president of IoIC, said: “We are so lucky to have people passionate about our profession who are also keen to be involved and to play an active role in shaping our Institute.  With such a wealth of great candidates putting themselves forward for the Board, our thanks go to everyone for standing.

“To the new Board members joining us, ‘welcome’, and we look forward to working with you.”

The IoIC Board is fundamental to guiding the strategic direction of the Institute, as well as representing internal communication to wider business, government, society and the media."

Jennifer Sproul, chief executive of IoIC, adds, “it’s an exciting time for the IoIC and the profession.  With so many plans to advocate for the work of our profession and enhance the experience for our members, I am really looking forward to gaining fresh ideas and continuing to work with our board to see us develop and grow as an Institute”
