Our path to sustainability.

Doing the right thing for the profession includes doing right by the planet. In 2023 we joined Climate Action for Associations, a global collective helping professional bodies measure and reduce their carbon emissions. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact year on year.

Our progress in 2024.

We measured our carbon footprint properly for the first time, set a baseline and started reducing it. There is more to do. We are transparent about where we are and committed to the direction of travel.

  • Established a working group to guide and oversee our sustainability efforts
  • Joined CAFA to enhance our understanding of carbon emissions and how to reduce them
  • Reviewed all 116 events held in 2024 and integrated eco-friendly practices
  • Updated our Environmental and Sustainable Travel Policy
  • Conducted an initial partial supply chain audit
