IOIC South: Ask Me AnICthing (AMA).
IOIC South: Ask Me AnICthing (AMA).
This Ask Me AnICthing session is our dedicated space for internal communicators from across the south offering an informal and honest conversation where no question is too small, too messy or too “off-script”.
Whether you’re grappling with confidence, workload, influence, career direction, or simply want another viewpoint on an idea or IC topic - this session is for you. Bring your real questions. Listen, share (as much or as little as you like), and leave with a fresh perspective, practical insight and the comforting knowledge of how others are approaching the same challenges.
Why this matters
Internal Communications (IC) can be a brilliant, rewarding profession. But, it can also be isolating, frustrating and lonely at times. From managing difficult stakeholder expectations to finding your voice, confidence and direction, many of the real challenges of IC aren’t always discussed openly.
Our #AskMeAnICthing session in the South Network is a space exactly for that.
What you’ll gain
- Practical insight grounded in experience
- The opportunity to tap into a broad range of experience from within your local network
- Connections with practitioners in your local area
Who it’s for
Designed for those who want to learn through shared experiences and peer connections, particularly in the south, although the event is also open to members and non-members in all regions.
There’s no presentation and no pressure - just a safe, private space for open and candid dialogue with people who genuinely understand the reality of working in IC.
How it works
This event will take place on Zoom. Once you have booked, the link to join will be in your confirmation email, or alternatively log into your website account, go to My account - Dashboard - Bookings – View Booking - Join Zoom meeting. To allow for open conversation, network events are not recorded
