Fionnuala is an award-winning senior corporate communications specialist with experience in a UK and global financial services environment across corporate comms, internal comms, transformation and change and employee engagement.

Currently Corporate Communications Lead at Royal London Group, she has held senior/‘Head of’ communication roles at Royal London and NatWest/RBS.

An IoIC Fellow since 2018, Fionnuala has served on the IoIC Scotland Committee and supported both the Scottish Communication Awards and the IoIC Awards as a member of the judging panel.

Naomi Goodman

Head of change and employee engagement, MHP Group

Naomi specialises in employee communications for change and transformation. Former board director at an award-winning reputation management firm, Naomi has led communications, employer brand and culture change programmes for UK SMEs to global Fortune and FTSE companies.

Recent projects include leading the development of a global employee value proposition for a Fortune 150 energy company; developing the M&A people and culture playbook for a global insurance company, launching a new DEI initiative across a global FMCG and setting up an enterprise-wide shared services function for global internal communications.

Naomi is passionate about connecting people to their potential. Embracing change is a major part of that journey. It’s why, alongside her communications degree and certification as a Prosci change management practitioner, Naomi is also a certified meditation teacher with The Chopra Center. Her aim is to continue to expand how individuals and organisations communicate, connect and engage to embrace change.

Oli Howard

Head of Membership, CIPD

Oli’s main work is with the CIPD, the body for HR and the wider people profession, where he is Head of Membership. He has previously worked in senior communication roles for public and charity sector organisations, with a strong focus on internal communication. He is the lead author of the IoIC's guide to IC strategy and an alumni of the programme with Kingston University, having graduated with Distinction in 2012. Oli is a Module Leader for the IoIC's Masters in Internal Communication. 

Justine Stevenson FIIC

Director of Internal Communication and Employee Engagement, AQA

I’ve been working in Internal Comms for more than 20 years and have been lucky to work in some fantastic organisations across a range of sectors. I’ve been a member of IoIC for all of my IC career and a board member for a good part of that. I currently chair our annual awards – and am amazed every year and the excellence in our profession.
