How we work with leaders.
How we work with leaders.
A space for members to connect, share and reflect.
Member Meet-Ups are informal, conversation-led sessions bringing the IOIC community together. They create space for honest discussion, shared experience and reflection on the realities of practice.
This quarter's session, How we work with leaders, will focus on balancing the visibility team members expect from leaders with the visibility leaders themselves prefer. Some leaders are reluctant to be seen, others want the spotlight too much. How do we manage both, shape the formats leadership communication takes, and keep it authentic while still appropriate and reviewed? There are no slides or formal presentations, just space to connect, reflect and learn together.
What you'll gain
- Open, honest conversation with fellow practitioners
- Shared insight into managing leadership visibility, formats and entry points to leaders
- A stronger sense of connection and professional confidence
Who it's for
Open to all IOIC members who value learning through conversation and community. With leadership a key theme for IOIC this year, this session will be especially relevant for anyone advising, coaching or communicating on behalf of senior leaders.
How it works
- An IOIC update by Dominic Walters, IOIC President
- A conversation starter from Melanie Hinds, IOIC Board Member and Global Head of Internal Communication & Employee Engagement
- Facilitated, open discussion with the group
